The memoir also covered his transition from a freedom fighter to a respected historical figure and a role model for diplomacy. Despite his background in medicine, Berrah's journey also included unexpected challenges, such as learning the techniques of a veterinarian to check the quality of fish and how to help cows with ear infections.
