[Following is a volunteer review of "A Dream For Peace" by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah.]
There are several historical accounts of patriots who fought both individually and collectively to free their nation from the control of their colonial oppressors. Ghoulem Berrah is one of these patriotic individuals. In A Dream for Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, we get to know about the story of his fight for his nation's freedom
The book's 361 pages and 17 chapters discuss the author's efforts to ensure that Algeria is a free nation. Berrah has been passionate and driven to see that his country is liberated from its colonial oppressors since he was a young child. He even went so far as to love politics while still in school. He also consistently supported his people and gave them faith that they would one day be free. He was detained in Spain for a number of reasons, one of which was this. Berrah wasn't only resolute without making efforts and accomplishing his objectives. Could he have done this on his own? Did his plans end up failing? Did he even face any difficulties on this mission? Get a copy of this book to discover more.
This book was quite educational. Reading about Berrah's tenacity and fervor filled me with joy. Berrah was unflappable despite encountering numerous challenging obstacles, he was still driven. I appreciate his charisma as well. Additionally, the author did a fantastic job at portraying the events in the book. I was able to visualize the events that happened in the book as the author described the events clearly. I also appreciate Berrah's act of resiliency. From the time of his pursuit to the time of his arrest, he wasn't planning on withdrawing. He was incredibly considerate in doing this, and I admire his bravery.
I was unable to think of anything negative to say about this book after reading it from cover to cover. I enjoyed learning about Berrah's life story and how he achieved his goals. Berrah cherished freedom and believed that nobody should be denied it. The themes were extremely enjoyable to me. I found the themes the book explored to be especially interesting. They are appropriate for the book's content, and I learned a lot from them. This book was indeed a great read.
Since I discovered no mistake in the book, the book was exceptionally edited. But since I have nothing negative to say about the book, I give it a solid rating of five out of five stars.
I recommend this book to everyone looking for a guide on how to develop patriotism. This memoir serves that purpose.
