For those who may not know what ABM and B2B are, ABM is an acronym for Account-Based Marketing, while B2B is an acronym for Business-to-Business Marketing. And as this book, ⁣ABM is B2B., suggests, they are identical, if not the same. Written by Sangram Vajre and Eric Spett, ABM is B2B. is a business-themed book that teaches marketers a different and more efficient strategy for success in marketing. It points out both the importance and differences between personnel in the marketing department and sales department. Stating some truths that some may not know in the industry, this book constructively explains the reality of marketing and the need for ABM. Quoting, “ABM isn’t a marketing thing for marketers. It’s a cross-functional approach to being account-centric and customer-obsessed. But it requires ownership and leadership from marketing to working as it’s supposed to.”

ABM is B2B. is quite straight to the point, consuming only about 200 pages. They developed it in 5 sections with underlying headings. The basic theme of this book, aside from business and marketing, is the acronym TEAM, where T stands for Target, E stands for Engage, A stands for Activate, and M stands for Measure. As understood, this is a framework that allows both the sales and marketing departments to work effectively and harmoniously. This book refers readers to other books which may be helpful to them. It also advises them on B2B influencers to follow.

Talking about recommendations, the display of images and illustrations pleased me. They also pointed important phrases out at the side of most pages. For a business book, I enjoyed the simplicity of the book and the fact that it was not boring at any point. And importantly, ABM is B2B. is exceptionally edited. I didn’t find any grammatical or punctuation errors.

At the end of reading this educative book, I would like to give ABM is B2B. four out of four stars because it satisfies all the requirements for being a marvelous work. I would love to thank Sangram Vajre and Eric Spett for this book, as it would teach those in the field a new way to do their job better. To add to this, the authors did a fantastic job of donating the proceeds from this book to help more people.

I’m recommending this book to marketers and business administrators. I believe this book will shine some light on a new perspective of marketing and business.

Marketing and business aren't really down my alley. But, I would skim through it just to get an idea.
Thanks for the encouraging review!

Isn't in my alley too. I'm more of a science guy.

It seems this book is for business and digital marketing gurus. But, no knowledge is wasted. I might need to read this book to add to my marketing knowledge. Thanks for an honest review.

I took a lot of marketing courses in college and I find this to be very appealing. Even though I don’t currently work in the field I can see how the two approaches are related.
