The Arrow That Flies By Day by John Servant is about a man named John, who had read in a newspaper about a training camp and had left on foot from Paterson to Madison to try out for the team because he had prayed for guidance as to what to do and it came to him in a dream to be a kicker. He had no college training experience, which made the coaches doubt anything about John that recommended him as a great athlete. He also had to face the resentment of the big man because he couldn't control and subjugate John the way he had been able to subjugate others. This threatened his tough guy image and he didn't want John to interfere with his domination. Being a Marine, the war taught John that if one is willing to take chances, he'll have chances. The Marine taught John to channel his anger into focusing on his mission. He also learned to have faith and love and the will to carry on despite his fears.

What I liked about the book was that it did not contain profane words, borderline profanity and sexual contents of any kind.

Although, I found few errors, I must say it was professionally edited.

I will rate it 3 out of 4 stars, this is because it was not bad, neither was it excellent but I will still recommend the book.

I think this book will appeal to both adults and children.
