Fear Not, Dream Big, & Execute is a motivational book on self-help and personal development written by Jeff Meyer. It uses methods which can best be described as useful ways of thinking outside the box, to orient a reader on the appropriate paths toward achieving their goals. It is a unique book, in the sense that the author draws inspiration and examples from his Christian faith, illustrating with scriptures taken from the Christian Bible.

I like the fact that there are a lot of examples in the book, as it helps those who are struggling with the concepts that are discussed in the book. The author uses down-to-earth analogies which are very easy for a reader to identify with. A good example would be the section in the book where the author likens the step-by-step approach to buttoning a shirt. I was literally visualizing the message he was passing along. The topics discussed are also very enlightening. I spent a lot of time ruminating on the author's reasons behind his belief of multitasking being a myth.

If there was anything in particular about the book I did not like, it would have to be the frequency with which the author references Christian literature in the book. Inasmuch as I understand the author is proud of his faith and draws a reasonable degree of his inspiration from his Christian background, there is a lingering possibility that a section of readers may not be drawn to the book because they are of a different faith. This would be disappointing as the information in the book is applicable to all individuals, irrespective of their faith or orientation. This is merely my point of view, and I believe other readers will likely come to a different conclusion after reading the book.

I would recommend this book to people in positions of authority and also those aspiring to such positions. If they follow the step-by-step instructions within this book, there is no way they will not see signs of improvement in their endeavors. Other non-fiction genre readers should also give this book a try. The nuggets of wisdom one can gain from this book are virtually limitless.

I commend Jeff Meyer on his book. Fear Not, Dream Big, & Execute delivers on its promise of being an aid to self-improvement. The editing is very well done and quite professional, as I found absolutely no errors in this book. The ideas discussed within it are revolutionary. The author's blend of Christian and non-Christian analogies gives the book a different feel, interestingly. I may not be so comfortable with the way the author blends both Christian and non-Christian references in the book, but it is not enough for me to deduct a star from this book. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.
