Entanglement - Quantum and Otherwise by John K Danenbarger is a literary fiction that holds the readers through the engaging character plots and crime thrilling story. The book goes through the life of several characters and their complex life stories. The book holds an intriguing climax and ending, but like any good mystery, you have to pay attention. It's a compelling literacy fiction that focuses on the relationship of the characters with each other in their past, present and future.
The story begins when Geena gets a letter from Joe, who she considered her only remaining family. The letter conveys the news about the death of her father. The book then continues to past, the story of the encounter between Joe and Beth, the mother of Geena, narrated by Beth. Then the book follows the story of Joe and many more characters. The book unravels how the life of the characters are entangled. The book also contains elements of magical realism and quantum physics.
The best aspect of the book is the writing style of the author. The way John hooks the readers to the book is exceptionally well done. The way the protagonist of each chapter is the narrator of that chapter makes the readers to more relate to and feel the characters well. The depth and complexity of each of the characters and their backstory make the characters more realistic. The journey of the characters in the quest of finding their answers on life, death and their challenges in their way makes each character unique from one other. The author managed each of the characters carefully so the plotline of each character was provided as required.
The book is exceptionally well-edited because I didn't come across any errors. There was not much to dislike about the book. Danenbarger pulls together an interesting plot, complex characters, surprises and most of all, a compelling story. Readers might get confused at some point due to changes in timeline and number of characters, but when we fix all the pieces of the book together, it takes the readers by a surprise.
I would gladly rate this book a 4 out of 4 due to its exciting storyline, skillful writing style and the perfection of details throughout the book. I recommend this book to adult readers and it contains sexual scenes. This is a perfect pick for those who like to read deeply, and for crime-thriller-mystery lovers.
