What starts out as an innocent holiday to get away from the worries and stress that come naturally with being upwardly mobile young men trying to make a way for themselves in the world evolves into something much bigger. It becomes a tradition, an antidote that once taken heals whoever participates in the process. As simple as it sounds to pack up, pick up your gear and wander off to some of the most exotic places the planet has to offer, one can only wonder if these young men have considered the repercussions of their actions. After all, every action has a consequence.

Eytan Uliel's Man Mission follows four friends who use their annual hiking and kayaking trips to refresh themselves and reboot before they return to the madness of the rat race. It is a story of growth, self awareness, an analysis of love gone wrong and what could have been done to prevent it.

I am particularly impressed with the storyline. It is difficult to believe this is a work of fiction. The subplots in the story hit very close to home on an emotional level. The book has some particularly funny lines which had me laughing before I realized exactly what I was reading. That has to count as a positive for it. It is particularly thoughtful of the author to explain the dynamics of the relationship between the primary character and his friends. It is in-depth and explains how they met and what bonds each of them. This is a trait unique to men so I would expect female readers to appreciate this. It is very interesting following how the deterioration of the primary character's relationship with his wife affected the group's dynamics.

After reading this entertaining book thoroughly, I have nothing to point to that I can say I do not like about the book.

Adventure lovers will absolutely fall in love with the way the author gives specific details about the exotic locations in the book. I am almost certain it will encourage some of them to do some exploring for themselves. Fiction genre followers will equally enjoy the storyline of the book. It has quite a lot of realism to it which can only be viewed as a good thing when it comes to books of this nature.

With its' adventure filled storyline and thought provoking subplots,Man Mission qualifies as a very interesting book. It is guaranteed to entertain any reader. The editing is excellent as there are no errors in the book which shows just how professional the work that went into it is. I rate this book, 4 out of 4 stars. This is one book I will keep close to me for a very long time.
