[Following is a volunteer review of "A Dream For Peace" by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah.]
A Dream for Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is an autobiography of Dr. Ghoulem Berrah. This book was made to tell readers about the author's life. He was born in Algeria during the colonial era. His country struggled to get independence from France. Furthermore, his family was part of the rebel faction that wanted to free the country from the invader. He decided to go to America to become a good scientist. After successfully becoming a scientist, he wanted to return to Africa to bring out the best of his skills. He became a diplomat in various countries in the world. For instance, he became the diplomat in Ivory Coast. Furthermore, the author also contributed to making peace for the war that occurred in the Middle East. Also, there were some dangerous situations when he decided to travel the world numerous times.
I liked the author's personality. The author's smart character, which seems suitable for his job as a diplomat, made the story much more enjoyable. Furthermore, I loved the part where the author tried his hardest to bring peace to the world. After reading this book, I was motivated to bring peace to myself as the first step in bringing peace to the world. I was impressed with the author's honesty when he mentioned some work behind the scenes as a diplomat because I could easily understand how hard it was to become a diplomat. Also, I learned how hard it was for African countries to get independence. I was able to learn the ugly side of African countries. For instance, poverty and crimes that were happening in many African countries. I thought this book would be useful for people who want to learn about politics in African Countries.
What I didn't like about this book was the quality of the photos. However, I understood that the photos were taken a long time ago. I wanted the author to tell the story more straightforwardly so that readers could easily grasp the flow of the story. However, I understood that it wasn't easy to tell secrets to other people.
In the end, these kinds of things didn't bother me from reading this book. I didn't find errors, which means this book has been perfectly edited. Because of that, I will rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I appreciated the author's honesty because I thought it would be difficult to tell your life.
I will recommend this book to people who wanted to find inspirational and motivational books. Also, this book will make a good read for people in general because there are many moral values in the story.
