Review of Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress
It seems that the biggest threat to health today is neither cancer nor AIDS, but stress. Many people today are being assaulted by stress due to current world conditions. Visits to hospitals are frequently related to stress in one way or another. No one is exempted from the ravaging hands of stress. How can you cope with stress and anxiety?
Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress by Gustavo Kinrys, MD. provides herbal remedies, natural remedies, and alternative therapies for stress and anxiety. The author defined stress and enumerated the symptoms of stress and anxiety. He further explained the health effects of using medications and addictive drugs to treat anxiety and its symptoms. The book highlights the most effective way stress can be reduced. It also defines cognitive distortion, its health effects, and types. I benefited from the seven tips for tackling anxious thoughts.
Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress made me feel like I was on visitation with an experienced health expert. The author's style of writing is simple, appealing, and comforting. The suggestions given in the book are practical. Also, many of the suggestions are easily attainable. For instance, when discussing the herbal remedies for stress and anxiety, the author listed numerous plants that can be easily found on different continents. He also mentioned simple but effective exercises for anxiety. I tried one of these exercises, and it worked. I noticed that most of the exercises in the book tackled the root cause of anxiety and not just the symptoms. I also appreciate the author's clarity. The suggestions in the book are specific and easy to understand. Sometimes, details include where and how to start applying the suggestions.
Noteworthy is the fact that the author's ideas are candid and logical. For example, the author stressed the positive effect of forgiveness in managing stress and anxiety. This is my most favorite aspect of this book. Readers can improve their lifestyle by applying this suggestion.
Another lovely feature in the book is a table placed at the concluding part of the book. It contains a summary of the remedies discussed in the book and a shopping list of foods that can help relieve anxiety and stress.
I have no dislikes about this book. It was exceptionally well edited. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. The information in the book is diverse and well-researched. I recommend this book for those facing work-related stress and anxiety.
