Do you know that there are still children who get kidnapped for sex traffic and pornography? As harsh as it sounds, it is our reality, and it happens every day. We will save some of those children, and some of them will never see the light of this world again. We have to save every little angel who is being kept in a cold room without a mother’s love.

Tim McAndrews is a former agent that has made life-and-death mistakes. After being attacked by a burglar, in order to save his darling Daniela St. Clair and himself, he killed the man. Tim sees nothing wrong in his act, but his district attorney, Paul Goddard, thinks differently. Tim needs to choose what kind of life he wants to have in the future. As Daniela and Tim plan a ski trip with their friends Kathy and Scott, a disturbing case of dead and abused twins messes with their plans. Their love for children makes them take the case in order to save other kids who are in danger. They didn’t know that their ski trip would not be a regular one, but the dangerous one.

Snow Country Lane by Sarah Vail is a crime novel that spreads on 276 pages. Since I am a fan of crime novels, I have enjoyed this one, and I can safely say that this one is my favorite by far. The author is brave enough to speak about a theme that everyone finds difficult to talk about. Child abuse, kidnapping, and sex trafficking is a dark spot of humanity. Sarah Vail did a magnificent job and created this remarkable book with a nail-biting plot. The work is full of action and perfectly described scenes. The characters are well-developed, and I could picture every one of them in my mind. My favorite character was Daniela. She carries a secret with her, but having such a beautiful and caring husband made her feel like a woman. She cares about children, and her only dream is to have a great family one day. I love the relationship between her and Tim. There are sparks everywhere, and I adore how the author translated that love into words. There are many plot twists throughout the book that made the plot even more uncertain.

The writing is out of this world as the author made it so easy to read. I have found no errors in the book, and I am sure that this book is edited professionally. There are a few graphic scenes of rape and abuse present in it. There are also a few cases of profanity used in the work.

I am giving this book a solid 4 out of 4 stars, although this book deserves over 4 stars. I enjoyed it so much that I cannot wait to read other masterpieces written by Sarah Vail. This book is perfect for action, thriller, and crime lovers. I am sure that no one will be able to this book down. There are scenes of abuse, and that is why this book is not a superb choice for light-hearted readers.
