This seems like quite the read. I recently read a book about the German occupation of Austria and so I'm very interested in educating myself further on the conditions and experiences of people during the second World War.

I love books that are based on letters written. It has more soul in it. The writer wrote it not for the population but for a loved one. It gives more true emotion then some books. I love how you wrote this review giving the book the recognition it deserves for its content.

This review is well written. It makes anyone reading it want to pick up the book. However, the book seems a bit slow to me. I am not sure I would read this one even though the reviewer did a great job of describing the book. I would however love to know the news he received about his sister. I am very curious about that. So maybe I will read it after all.

The book seems to be filled with emotion with a happy ending. Am glad the author was able to break down thr military terminologies to make it an easy read. Good review.

Seeing your love ones going for war brings mixed feelings, because you don't know what might happen to him. Thanks for the detailed review.
