Gathered by Kurt Hansen it the journey of fictional character and center of the story, Delbert Solomon Severson, aka Sol. Sol has a successful career. He lives in a wealthy suburb of Chicago with his wife, Jan and their only daughter, Amy. Still somewhere Sol feels emptiness in his heart. His wife knew that from the very beginning but don't know how to comfort him. Sol has everything that is going perfectly until a tragic night change everything that causes him traumatic loss.

Sol manage to overcome his trauma that lead him to confront his buried feelings. Sol decided to returns to his small hometown for seeking unknown answer, what's he searching for so long and learn more about his family roots. He contact with his aunt, Christine Severson and spend some time with her. Is time really can heal a person heart? The theme of the story is really amazing. Every characters has a great influence in Sol's life. Wife- Jan, daughter- Amy, his father- Delbert Solomon Severson Jr., sister- Maura, assistant- Emma, Childhood friend- Tim, uncle- George, Jax etc. Would he be able to discover the Severson family tradition?

Kurt Hansen is really a great writer. He was born in Racine, Wisconsin, and has lived in Kansas, Texas, and, Iowa. His writing of this story is flowing that i couldn't stop but continue to keep reading. He represent Sol's life with great skill using nature, which starts from "Autumn". Each season represents, what's going on in Sol's life.

This book is divided in 4 parts. I love this story, the storyline, characterizations. Author really did a genius work. While reading this book, i found myself as one of them. I felt love, lose, excited, fear, sorrow, happy along with the characters. As the story unfolds, i found myself drown into the flow. To say the truth, i even thought to check the last page while reading the early 3rd part of the story, what's happen in the end. But my heart didn't allow me to do that. I was really so curious and unpredictable.

This book of Kurt Hansen is well edited. Anyone can read this book. There is no gender barrier at all. I liked every parts of it. I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. So, why late? Hurry up, and grab it.
