My Purpose by Bruce Francois is an enlightening book. There is a very positive vibe throughout the book. This book is an eye-opener. It is a short read with only 208 pages.

After completing his engineering degree at the University of Central Florida, the writer got a job at Disney. He was chasing the American dream. He was doing really great in life when all of a sudden, he started suffering heavy financial losses. His real estate investments were not profitable anymore and also his restaurant had to be shut down. He was on the verge of bankruptcy.

It was then that he decided to discover the purpose of his life. Throughout the book, he goes on sharing his journey of discovering his life's purpose. Come join the writer on this soothing journey that may help you discover your life's purpose.

I'll start by rating this book 4 out of 4 stars. This book impressed me a lot. Usually, books like this are slow and become boring after a certain point. This wasn't the case with this book. The book moved at a steady pace. The writer's style of narration is brilliant. The book is narrated from the writer's perspective. The narration was so smooth that I felt I was listening to the writer. The writing style is so engaging and not for once did I feel like I was reading about a heavy topic like this.

The most surprising thing about this book was that the writer has used both science and religion to find the purpose of his life. I mean on a topic like this, we always see that everyone neglects the role of science. They try to justify everything through religious beliefs. But, in this book the writer has balanced both religion and his knowledge of science to find his purpose. The way the writer has explained various things by using knowledge from these two fields are so logical. It made a lot of sense to me. This is definitely my favourite part of the book. The way the writer has tried to explain certain things by referring to the animated movie, Moana, does certainly help the readers to relate to the more simpler things in life. This book is such a refreshing read.

Another thing that I liked a lot about this book is that everything has been explained in a simple way. The writer has not used any complicated explanation or reference. At the end of each chapter, there are a few important points mentioned from that chapter.

There was nothing that I could dislike in this book. I found only 3 errors throughout the book. I believe it has been professionally edited. I'll suggest this book to people who are having a difficult time in their lives. Also, people who are interested in such topics should definitely read this book. This book isn't suitable for children because obviously, this topic is beyond their understanding. This is the perfect book to read before going to bed.
