[Following is a volunteer review of "Murdered" by James Schannep.]
I would rate this book a 3 out of 4
I just finished reading Murdered. When I first saw it, I thought the premise was really fun, sort of like a choose your own adventure from when we were kids, and I have to admit that it was a fun read.
I found it to be a fairly quick read, but because of that, I probably missed some of the clues, although I was able to identify the murderer.
I did find it confusing though, when the page numbers went backwards. It looked like I was getting to the end, but then I realized that it was happening because of the different choices.
Some of the characters were difficult to keep track of, but that could be because of the options that I chose.
I have recommended this book to a couple of people who I know are in book clubs, I think it will make for some very interesting meetings.
I plan on resetting the book several times to try alternate options, probably to try all combinations to see how it would work out then. I would recommend it to anyone.
