Four Funny Potatoes by Len Foley is a short story of three Potatoes and a Banana that is being called a Potato rehearsing for the show of the four Potatoes. Benny maintained he's a Banana but the director never listened. It was left to Benny to convince the director and his partners that he isn't a Potato.

One good thing about the book is that the characters were well defined and easy to understand. The pictures were well illustrated and drawn to show the characters' emotions and expressions. For example,Benny had a sad and helpless expression when he was called a Potato but when he was given the chance to sing his song, the picture drawn showed that he was extremely happy.

Another good thing is the depictions. The struggles of Benny and how he strived to make those he was with understand and see him for who he was depicted how humans also strive to show their true potential but sometimes fail to do so even after their death.

The worst part of this book is the context. According to the title, it is meant to be about four Potatoes that are funny but the book centered on Benny, the Banana. Also the book is meant to be funny but unfortunately, it had a sad ending making it similar to a tragedy.

I rate this book 3 out of 4 stars because, although the context does not correlate with the title of the book, It's suitable for children as they can easily understand the book. Moreover, there are no noted spelling and grammar error.
