I think memoirs are better sources of inspiration than self-help books, as what drives a person to success can be different for each person. From your description, I find Bowers' story fascinating. I do hope the author would consider releasing an edited version.

This is such an amazing book. It takes inspiration to another level. To achieve such a great success when everything including his own family was a barrier, is incredible. This is a book I'll definitely be reading and thanks so much for your lovely review.
