The cargo sh*t name Seatle Express was sailing near the coast of Alaska when a fire start inside it, outside was a terrible storm. All the crew tried to extinguish the fire but this was very difficult do it, and the captain ordered to leave the ship in the lifeboats. The crew was divided into two lifeboats, one commanded by the captain and another by his second. Both lifeboat was separate buy the storm and lost communication between them.

In an Alaskan town a woman hear in the system of radio that a ship was abandon in the sea and that the Buckhorn were going to rescue them. She has a company that is near of broken because there no job to do. For this reason she told to her husband about this abandon ship and persuade he to reunite a crew to reclaim the ship. Their want to tug the ship before the other company. Their use their ship name Warehorse.

Meanwhile the two lifeboat are in the sea at mercy of the terrible storm, without communication between them and with no knowing it their help message was hear for the Canadian coastguard.

In the Alaskan town a man was call to start a job for security guard in the Buckhorn company, because the company need to have all the personal active to watch a ship that they are going to rescue and bring there. This ship is driven by the father of a friend of his, and he call her to tell her that her father's ship is adrift and all the crew are in lifeboats.

The daughter of a ship's captain work belongs to a indian-american tribe that are trying to stop the Buckhorn's company to exploit their lands.

In the book the author describe all the branches that are involved in the rescue of a cargo ship in the small town of Alaska, in addition to the consequences of the installation of a large company in the town.

Adrift by Charlie Sheldon is a drama book about a rescue of a cargo sh*t that was abandon in the sea of the Alaska by its crew for a fire in it.

It is a very good drama book, that I recommend reading. Rating 4 out of 4.
