Who Told You That You Are Naked? By William E. Combs is an amazing read. The book answers our questions about the Garden of Eden in a simple and clear way. William made us understand the loneliness Adam felt that God decided to create Eve for him by giving him natural anesthesia and removing his rib. Eve was obedient on the command of not eating the forbidden fruit or not even touching it until the serpent deceived her and she in turn, convinced Adam who also ate the fruit.

That is when they both discovered that they were naked and hid away from God. When they heard him walking towards them, they hid but later emerged and confessed they were hiding because they were naked. This prompted God to ask Adam, “Who Told You That You Are Naked?” From there, William explains what God meant by saying that if they eat the forbidden fruit they would die.

William also made me understand how sin came to the earth and how we can turn away from it. The topic of faith is well looked into with a clear definition of real faith and little faith. The readers are also made to understand the meaning of sin and whether we were born with it or not. Living in God, resting in him and following his ways are all outlined in this book.

This book is the best religious book I’ve landed in my arms so far. I would recommend it to anyone interested in religious knowledge and it is not age limiting. I would recommend a 4 out of 4 on its rating. William really knows how to use his person experiences to make the readers understand what he really means. When he talks about how Ralph’s kidney stones suddenly become fine grains of sand can make one pray to God to have just little faith.

The bible verses are also well placed almost after he discusses a topic so we may understand his point of teachings. The topic of the book by itself is so catchy forcing an avid reader to pick the book and see what William has in store. He talks about reexamining the Garden of Eden which he does so well in chapter in one and two. He clearly explains how the Garden of Eden looked like, Adam and Lively, creation of Eve, the food that was available, the land they were shown and how the snake convinced Eve to have the fruit. The book has no grammatical errors and has a smooth flow although it’s very short. I recommend this book to anyone who believes in Christianity and wants to upgrade their biblical knowledge. Lastly, it’s suitable for all age groups.
