I must admit when I first chose this book, I wasn't expecting much. I was definitely pleasantly surprised. I would definitely rate this book 4 out of 4 as a resource to keep at hand as we travel through life.
The structure of the this valuable resource helps you find what you are looking for quickly. I enjoyed the separation for Tips, Myths and Tricks as this follows the most basic of communication rules; tell them what you are going to tell them then tell them. This made it easy to focus in on a couple of areas I have experience with.
While the internet is a great resource for research, it has also been a place for anyone who wants to spread misinformation. On the other hand, many doctors also keep on blinders when it comes to alternative options. I found it easy to read as it is a great balance of studies and science with enough room for the wives tales and other forms of medicine. The splash of humour here and there makes it quite enjoyable. One of the best lines was about how Mom was right about eating a healthy breakfast.
This is the kind of book that you keep and glance back through when a life event or other situation triggers a little research. You can jump from one chapter to another as each section is complete on its own. It is a great resource and a helpful part of living a healthy life.
