I guess I believe ghosts and spirits to be energy that remain in our world or come into our world when they have something that needs to be said or done. I think ghosts can enter dreams more easily than they can be seen as apiritions. Whenever I see my grandmother in my dreams, I think she is trying to check in on me.

I don't believe in ghosts. Personally, I think it all started because someone lost in grief wanted to believe their loved one was still around and then convinced other grieving people until it became a full-blown superstition.

Yeah, maybe. But it still doesn't explain all the weird sightings.

i Belive ghosts are spirits of those who pass away. i believe that some of them choose to stay instead of moving on to a new life(reincarnation). i think that they can collect energy and try to manifest itself to be seen or heard

I am not sure if I do believe in them or not, but if I were to I think it's more of an energy kind of feeling.

I believe the origin of ghosts was inside somebody's imaginative brain. Perhaps they thought of bringing loved ones back from the dead and a distorted memory became a ghost!

ghosts are simply fallen angels or demons... there are no good ghosts or friendly ghosts or family members coming back to help people. Paranormal activity is demonic activity and it is real, very real... and most times it is invited in by someone fooling with the occult.

Of course they exist. They are just "creatures" (perhaps what we call souls) that exist in another dimension. Sometimes, quite by accident, their world intersects with ours, and we become aware of each other. But I don't believe that they can--or even wish to--harm us. In fact, they are probably as startled by these accidental encounters as we are. So be nice to them :)

I don't really know what I would consider them to be, but I definitely believe they exist. I've known tons of people who have experienced supernatural things.

I don't believe in ghosts as dead people who come back and haunt us, but I believe there may be other spirits that we are unaware of.

'Ghosts' are energy. There are several different kinds of 'ghost'. Some are residual energy that has been caught in our plane like on a video tape. It is a visual or sound loop caught in time. There are those souls, for one reason or another, that are not ready or willing to move on to the next part of life. They can sometimes interact with the living. There are those who have gone on 'into the light' and come back periodically, usually to give messages.

The thing is, energy is. It is a constant state of being, taking different forms.

I have studied many religions, and my personal conclusion is that hauntings or paranormal activity are not ever only one thing.
It could be:
A Demon: An otherworldly spirit either benevolent or malevolent
An Angel: Some being who has attained a high level of spiritual evolution and is there for your benefit. (this could be ancestors or not).
A Ghost: Some human being or earthly creature which either doesn't know that it's dead or refuses to pass on to the other side completely.
A Poltergeist: Which I have come to understand as a person who has psychic abilities but doesn't know it and moves things around the house or otherwise creates disturbances on accident.

In an infinite universe, their origins are multitudinous.
