Predictions for the Next Book

Post by Heidi M Simone »

Unspeakable Acts is the first in a series - the author has mentioned she is working on the next one.

What do you think will happen next? What would you want to happen? Is there something you would like more of/less of when comparing to the first one?

Curious to find out too! Maybe vampires? Zombies? Werewolves? The occult? There really are so many directions the author could go with these characters and this series.

Book-3 is Vampires. The title for that one is probably going to be Unquenchable Thirst. Book-4 is beginning to take root, I'm thinking Rougarous (Wolfman). Maybe Insatiable Hunger for a title? What do you guys think?

I also think those are great titles! I was wondering if vampires would come into to play at some point. :)

I'm actually getting really excited for the upcoming books! Having different supernatural creatures in books is something that I love. It reminds of a couple of supernatural shows I used really enjoy watching. Keep up the awesome work!

@hsimone Yes, that's what I was thinking. :) It's like X-Files or the actual show Supernatural. It's really a great premise for a series. Using investigators as the base of the series helps keep the constant re-encountering of new strange creatures feel less forced.

I don't normally read books about the supernatural but I cannot wait for the next book in the series. Watching this group of characters develop is something I look forward to reading and seeing.
Life without a good book is something MrsCatInTheHat cannot imagine.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked the book. I'm working with a new editor on the first book and doing some rewrites, the 2nd book is almost through the first draft. I have learned so much from this initial release that I'm taking my time with the second book. ?
