Me, Myself and My Work

Post by Meliha »

I'm new here. Although I have been a writer for many years, and I have received many e-mails from onlinebookclub, it is only now that I am joining. Shame on me! - I know.

I'm an activist by day and a writer by night - sort of speak. In truth, I am an activist, but I always have a notebook ready to jot down the things that really need to be said. However, when I get home, I'm usually so tired, my bed starts speaking and it has the most luring voice, I just can't help myself. I fall on my bed like a tone of bricks and I am gone, out of this world, for (like) six to seven hours.

I'm not a big fan of publishing my books on amazon, but I thought I had no choice, so I did put them there many years ago. Now that I have discovered Smashwords, I will be taking my business there.

Feel free to ask any question, start any conversation... Oh, and if there is a guiding angel out there who can guide me through this maze called 'the world of book publishing', please feel free and assume that I am a complete novice; just because I have writing experience, it does not mean I have any knowledge about publishing.

Hi, Melina.

Thank you for sharing your story.

This is a site for bibliophiles, so you are in the right place if books make your day. If you'd check out the helpful information that Gali gave, you'd be off to a good start here.

Welcome to the club! All the best. :tiphat:
