Hi Everyone,

I am really happy to join this fabulous community of readers and writers.

I am slightly book obsessed. I have a towering pile of books covering an entire wall in my bedroom. An afternoon spent in a bookshop, browsing, then choosing and sitting down with a coffee and turning the crisp first page of a new book for me is heavenly.

My favourite novels are always sensory. I love descriptions that allow you to not only see the world the author has created but smell it, even taste it.

I also cannot get enough books about strong historical women, particularly if they are involved in a conspiracy and political intrigue. I am a sucker for time jump books too. I love magical realism and fantasy if I can believe in it. Witches, Fairies (particularly the darker kind) enchant me. I also like super fast pace thrillers where you solve the clues with the protagonist.

I am a little tired of dystopian novels. I would love to see a book about a future where the world becomes a better place.

After years of reading, I have written my own novel which I hope encapsulated everything I love in a book.

Emily x
