I'm JoFrusciante aka BookWorm!
Looking forward to consuming books...yay! I read voraciously, am into historical fiction and paranormal/fantasy fiction at the moment, my mum is constantly urging me read crime fiction but I read for escapism and pleasure so I'm for flights of fancy and imaginative alternate realities.
I was weaned on Mills & Boon and am still awaiting my M&B man...he will come...!! Thanks Nan, you have ruined me! I have read the classics, love all Charles Dickens stuff, and Jonathon Swift...more recently I must salute Aldous Huxley Brave New World, a particular favourite I read every other year...clever. Another fav is Nevil Shute A Town Like Alice, the language and imagery is simply outstanding, I adore all the characters and they are real without being sentimental and predictable...excellent book.
Hat tip to Forever Amber (a romp through the England of the 1600's, and a tragic love story to boot) by Kathleen Winsor. A Tree Grows In Brooklyn...evocative, a must for all ages, I forget the author, possibly Betty Smith?
All Christine Feehan's Dark Series and JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood novels in my collection...perhaps more on that another time...I have grumbles!
Reading is my ultimate pleasure and I read fast for there are many books in the world and I mean to make a good inroad into them before I put down the book forever and close the eyes!! True!
Cheers and happy raeding to all
xx

"In the case of good books, the point is not to see how many of them you can get through, but rather how many can get through to you." (Mortimer J. Adler)
