Icon Looking for Historical Fiction, Fantasy, Poetry, Biographies and Dramas

Post by Deianara »

being paid to review books? hell yes.
I am a classics scholar, aiming to be a classics professor. Any books of historical fiction focusing on the classical era - I will eat them up. I loved reading Silver Pigs and I wish there were more quality books in this genre.
I speak Latin, Classical Greek, German, Italian and Arabic so if anyone is interested in using another language as a part of their book, I am more than willing to help with that.
I like to read historical fiction preferably of the ancients, all forms of fantasy, poetry, biographies, and dramas.

For poetry...love donne, but more versed in Latin poets(catullus, horace, lucretius). I really like poetry that follows a metre. Free verse most times lacks this structure. I will not be good at judging that form of poetry as I see it more to be prose.
