Introduction

Hi all. I am new to this group so I will tell you a bit about myself. I am an avid reader and have been for my entire life. Got in trouble continuously in High School for hiding books behind my text books and reading in class. Was challenged in college to give up recreational reading for Lent. I managed to succeed and read nothing but text books for 40 days that year but suffered severe withdrawal symptoms (LOL). I am retired but substitute teach in a local ISD. I have four children, but unfortunately only managed to turn one into a reader. My second girl finds reading a chore and will watch paint dry rather than read for entertainment. My first boy is dyslexic so reading for pleasure isn't his thing and my youngest boy has a learning disorder. Reading isn't his thing either although he will read manga.
