I have a background in film and media - I am very interested in book adaptations and comparing written form with the "moving pictures" version.
My favourite books have one thing in common: beautiful metaphors. I love how Murakami writes for example. He enhances the most boring scene (like a man cooking noodles for three pages straight) with said metaphors and it is just a joy to read.
I recently discovered (removed by mod) a local author where I moved to. It is a shame that his books are not that popular yet! My goal on this website would be to discover new authors, books and maybe even TV shows and movies and I will try to highlight my new discoveries for you.
