Hello

Post by T T Rogers »

Hello,

I'm Tom. I quite enjoy reviewing books and already have an Amazon account.

I'm one of those who writes very lengthy, analytic reviews. I'm conscious that not everybody likes that, so if you prefer concision, then give my reviews a miss. That said, a few of my reviews are more punchy and to-the-point.

I prefer reviewing fiction and I like most genres, including adventure, pulp/popular, historic, etc., but my favourite is Victorian classic fiction, both realist and melodramatic: i.e. Dickens, Hardy, Collins, and so on.

Right now I'm reading an alternate history book (which I'm so far not liking, but I'll stick with it). Once that's out the way, I'm hoping to go back to reviewing serious material.

I also dive into non-fiction: favourite subjects are astronomy/astrophysics, history, archaeology, philosophy, politics, economics, that sort of thing. But I don't review non-fiction as much as I find doing so it a bit more involved and time-consuming.

What is your favorite philosophy book?
I used to take a bunch of philosophy classes during my undergrad- always interesting.
