Happy to be here!

Post by Start to Finish »

Hello all,
I am a 39-year-old bookseller from Michigan and it's exciting to be amongst passionate book lovers! I read fiction (including mystery and science fiction), history, biography, politics, and anything else that catches my attention. Working in a bookstore is the ideal place to discover books about topics I never thought I'd be interested in! I can never pick just one favorite book or author, but some of my "bests" are Margaret Atwood, Sherri S. Tepper, The Sparrow and Children of God by Mary Doria Russell, Sarah Waters, Alison Weir, Jeff Vandermeer, James Meek, and Tom Robbins. Some great nonfiction i've checked out recently includes Radium Girls, Educated, Mrs. Sherlock Holmes, and The New Jim Crow. I could go on for pages! I look forward to exploring and contributing these forums!
