Hello, my name is Helen Combe and I’ve got off to a roaring start. I’ve managed to get my email address wrong and I would also like to correct the capitalisation on my username. Can anybody advise please as I couldn’t find an edit option for either. :oops2:

I am the treasurer at my local writers’ club, ‘Solihull Writers’ which is based in the UK.
I was shortlisted for the ‘To Hull & Back’ humorous writing competition and my story,(removed by mod) was published in the 2016 anthology. I have had other stories published on websites (removed by mod).

I was a Configuration Management analyst until I was made redundant in 2017. Two weeks before I left, I was diagnosed with breast cancer for which I have just finished my treatment.
My adventures with breast cancer have been blogged on my Facebook page (removed by mod),

I love to read and write and this looks like a great opportunity to do both.

Also, please note that self-promoting (of blogs/webs/books) is against site rules.

Hi, I do apologise, I did read through the rules but I must have missed the bit about self promotion.
Sorry

Indeed you will. It just takes some time to get used to the bells and whistles!

Sorry, me again. I followed the link and I could see a lot of replies to the anti-spam rules, but couldn’t find the original post. :oops2:
