Introduction
Greetings! I am tmabbatt2 and a new member, semiretired, finding new hobbies, new friends and apparently some new reading material. I enjoy reading spiritual, inspirational fiction and nonfiction. I have an education in Christian Theology and Biblical Exigeses with an emphasis in Pastoral Studies.
I am currently fascinated with the anthropology / archeological aspects of humanity and methods of communicating our past, our present and projections of our destiny as rendered by the ancient thinkers, their contemporary critics, following generations of interpretation and scholarship, while drawing conclusions that have been averred, proven, disproven, revisited, discarded and what always blows my mind, disregard for obvious truths as revealed by centuries of revealed wisdom. And as we continue to write it, read it and yes, reveal it, we fail to LIVE it, even as we love it, I am reminded of the ancient who tells us, "there is nothing new under the sun". If one can perceive any truth here, I will offer the possibility of newness being beyond the sun.
Ce's LA vie... Solo Del Gloria!

"In the case of good books, the point is not to see how many of them you can get through, but rather how many can get through to you." (Mortimer J. Adler)
