I'm new to the community. Seen this site a couple of times and finally decided to join! Even though, I am a slow reader, I do enjoy reading. I'm hoping that joining this community will bring an opportunity to widen my range in genre. I typically always go for poetry, fantasy, or psychological thrillers in young adult. Currently, I've challenged myself to read a non-fiction book called The Butchering Art: Joseph Lister's Quest to Transform the Grisly World of Victorian Medicine by Lindsey Fitzharris. It's taking a little bit longer to finish than usual but I'm loving it so far! The majority of my reading gets done at night so an e-reader is my go-to. Looking forward to becoming a more active member!

In the case of good books, the point is not to see how many of them you can get through, but rather how many can get through to you." (Mortimer J. Adler)
