Hi all! I'm giving this group a try. I burn through books at a really rapid rate. I have a degree in English and can't stand poorly edited books with typos all over them (which seems to make up the majority of Kindle Unlimited these days). I read a lot of romance and love Penny Reid, JR Ward, and Karen Marie Moning. I never thought of myself as a vampire or science fiction kind of gal, but the latter two authors have changed my mind completely.

When I don't have my nose in a book, I'm working for my County's fire department (I make maps, no running into burning buildings for me), love to race sailboats, and enjoy cooking.

In the case of good books, the point is not to see how many of them you can get through, but rather how many can get through to you." (Mortimer J. Adler)
