Icon Got any erotica recommendations without dominant, cold men; maybe even erotica with the woman in charge?

Hi all! This might be a weird request for personal recommendations, but I've been struggling to find this sort of thing. I really enjoy reading erotica, but I'm not a big fan of the usual domineering, sort of cold guy love interests that seem to be a staple of the genre. Is there any good erotica out there with a sensitive, caring guy with more vanilla style lovemaking? Or, maybe even better, stories where the girl is the one in charge in bed? (But preferably with a gentle femdom slant; I don't like things very mean!) I'm also open to lesbian erotica stories with either vanilla or a gentle femdom kinky slant. This might be pretty specific, but I trust you all might have some decent recommendations. Thank you so much in advance. :)

Okay, this is not exactly what you are looking for because it has the female in the submissive role, but The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty, Beauty's Punishment, Beauty's Release, and Beauty's Kingdom all written by A.N. Roquelaure (a.k.a. Anne Rice) are all really good. They are all very BDSM, but again, I really think they are worth trying if you are a fan of the genre.

Black dagger brotherhood. Once I started I couldn't stop. Weekend binge reading. A book per weekend. 3 am saturday telling myself just one more chapter which turned into Monday morning sh*t i have to get ready for work. Looking in the mirror wondering when I bathed last. Each brother has a story, a female is accepted in and my goodness is she fantastic.

Maya Banks writes quite a bit of erotica. She also writes standard romance, so you'll need to look through her books. Her erotica tends to be MFM, though.

Kristen Ashley wrote one. That's not generally her thing, but it was very good. It's called Knight.

Oh, Maya Banks also wrote The Enforcers series. In the first two books, the guy can sometimes be a bit of a jerk, but he can also be very sweet and gentle as well.
