On the topic of parenting, The Continuum Concept by Jean Liedloff is absolutely life-changing.

On the topic of spirituality, Ram Dass's Be Here Now is beautifully written and spiritually comprehensive :)

The Secret series really helps with law of attraction. I really liked The Power because it focused on love as a means of attracting whatever you want.

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey is one of the absolute best, cannot do you wrong.

I really loved Happy Yoga by Steve Ross although I didn't agree with *everything* he had in there.

The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin is rather decent and enjoyable.

The Tao of Pooh by Benjamin Hoff is classic with good reason........

As far as parenting, I recommend any of the Love and Logic books by Jim Fay and Charles Fay. One that is lesser known but that I have found to be fantastic is UnSelfie by Michele Borba, which deals with the importance of instilling empathy in our children in modern society.

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson is a pretty interesting book. I honestly do not generally enjoy self-help books, so I am not the best person to rate it.

I can, however, recommend Alain de Botton to you. Asides from his book, you MUST look for The School of Life on youtube. It is a page managed by him and it has small videos about any topic you might think of. It is a fantastic page that helped me a lot to change my perspective in life.

The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy. It's about how the little things we do every day build up into big results, both positive and negative things.

How to be human by Ruby Wax is an excellent book for dealing with anxiety and the stresses of everyday life.

Humorous but with the combined outlook of a neuroscientist, monk and comedian, it’s the perfect manual to life... and it was recommended to me by my GP!

“The wisdom of ennagram” by Riso and Rudson. It is the complete guide to spiritual and nine personality type development. Defines how wonderful it is to know yourself and then be able to live every day! Basically on exceptional living all the ways from Socrates to the current lifestyle! I read it almost ten times a year!

Also get this book called, “Getting things done” by David Allen. He is a guru on personal productivity and companies organization! He knows how to organize you personally; as a family person, professionally and in terms of any other success in need of time!

He made me create files for all the things I do and then finally feel the sense of how productive am when I achieved them one after the other!

Another book by Napoleon Hill, “Think and Grow Rich” Wow! Even the title can ring a bell. Believe me, that book is my Bible in so many aspects of personal and professional life! It has transformed so many lives and more importantly, it has coached all these life coaches you see currently, from Jim Rohn, to Bob Proctor and many, many other highly successful humans on earth! It is the source of law of attraction, success definition and implementation, discipline driven on purpose and how to formulate and program your life towards your desired life's purpose! It sparkles one's mind about success and living exceptionally!

My favorite psychology book is Quiet by Susan Cain. It discusses the differences between extroverts and introverts as physical and social characteristics, not simply as preferences. Changed my life and taught me to view myself differently when I was a quiet 16-year-old.
