Crime Book recomendations??

Post by cassandrai » 13 Aug 2018, 00:56

I am looking for my next favorite book. I am having trouble finding one, I enjoy Ken Follett and Sidney Sheldon books but I would like to get into a new authors books. I have read the women's murder club, by James Patterson as well.

I am not familiar with the authors you mention, but I highly recommend the Ikmen series of crime novels by Barbara Nadel. They are slightly dark yet crime novels set in Istanbul which explore a whole range of social issues too.

I'm reading Snap by Belinda Bauer, about a murder by a motorway, it's a great crime read.

Check these two out. They're very different, but I like them both a lot:
Galveston by Nick Pizzolatto
We Run Bad by John Curry

Do you want "True Crime" or mysteries?

Devil's Knot: The True Story of the West Memphis Three
(Justice Knot #1)
by Mara Leveritt

Was quite a read, it can be hard in some places, but I really enjoyed the read.
