I recommend Jonathan Nasaw. He is a great author and I loved his books so much. The girls he adored is about a serial killer with a split personality.

If you prefer the series-type involving female leads/detectives, you could try Blake Pierce :)

I recommend "In Malice, Quite Close" by Brandi Lynn Ryder (suspenseful mystery), anything by Neil Gaiman (funny horror), "All She Was Worth" by Miyuki Miyabe (suspenseful mystery, kinda has some psychological horror elements), basically anything by Miyuki Miyabe, actually...and the Judge Dee mysteries translated by Robert van Gulik.

Hope you find something to your liking in this list!!

I would recommend "The girl with the dragon tattoo", "The girl who played with fire", "Into the water" by Paula Hawkins
(Dragon tattoo series is absolutely terrifying)
And for light weight reading you can always pick up Sherlock Holmes books. They are a delight to read! :tiphat: :D
