Many good suggestions above. In addition, I recommend R.A. Salvatore's series with Drizzt Dro'Urden (a great dungeons and dragons type read) and The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant by Stephen R. Donaldson. They are wonderful.

I personally love high/epic fantasy with magic, medieval/old settings, royalty and different creatures and beasts. I know a few you could try, although I don't know what you have already read.
1. Eragon series
2. Game of Thrones series
3. Throne of Glass series
4. A Court of Thorns and Roses trilogy
5. Eon and Eona duology
6. Talon series
7. Harry Potter series
8. Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit

I hope this helps! :)
