Icon Crime and some Romance

Post by Kendrag »

I have been reading a lot of crime books lately and really enjoying the Jack Reacher series. I feel like I will be getting to the end of this series soon and am looking for another author who might have a similar writing style. I really like the mystery aspect of this series and the little bit of romance that sneaks in but doesn't overtake the plot. Please leave suggestions on authors and series!

You should try Allison Brennon, Karen Rose, Carla Neggers, Catherine Coulter, Tami Hoag, Lisa Jackson, J.A. Jance, Roxanne St. Claire. All these authors have suspense thrillers with a romance edge. Hope this helps.

Try "And Then There Were None," by Agatha Christie. It has crime, mystery, with just a tad of romance throughout. I enjoed the novel a lot.

You may enjoy J.D. Robb. I just started her series and I'm enjoying them immensely.

I like the Cormoran Strike novels that are penned by J.K. Rowling under the pen name of Robert Galbraith.

If you like Lee Child, I recommend Vince Flynn, Michael Connelly, Barry Eisler and Robert Crais. Between those four there's probably a couple hundred books to keep you busy for a while :D
