Looking for a book with long odd title and set in Hope Idaho

My wife and I saw it in Walmart, a novel with a longish odd title and I think the story was set in Hope Idaho or Hope Falls Idaho.

We went back next week and it was gone, never to be seen again.

Can anyone help me out?

Was it The Absolute True Diary of a Part Time Indian by Sherman Alexie. Its a black cover with a little plastic Indian an Cowboy on it.
