Does anyone have any recommendations for good books that are in french? (Keeping in mind that french is not my first language) Thanks :)

If you've never read the classic Alexandre Dumas novels in french, instead of a translation, I'd start there. Specifically The Three Musketeers. The story loses a lot of complexity and humor in translation, and is a much more satisfying read than a watered down english language version.
