Hello Yasmyna,

I recently started reading psychological thrillers with a horror emphasis to help research for my next book, and along the way, I found "Salems Lot" by Stephen King. Although this book is not a fast-paced thriller, it is delightful. I also read "The Children on the Hill" by Jennifer McMahon. I wouldn't say I liked the ending of this book, but I thought that the whole of it was enjoyable. I also read "The Push" by Ashley Audrain, and I don't know if it would be considered a horror, but it is an excellent psychological thriller.

I hope this helps in your search!

Verity by Colleen Hoover is a good one and relatively recent. The Talented Mr Ripley by Patricia Highsmith is another good one that I enjoyed and it’s part of a series.
