Naruto!
Started watching at the lowest point of my life and am so grateful that it exists. I'm not Otaku but this one anime is special for personal reasons. <3

The very first anime character I was introduced to was, unsurprisingly, Naruto but I didn't really get caught up in him like everyone else until way later. The anime that got really piqued my interest was Vampire Knight. I loved the animosity between Zero and Kaname for some reason loved both of them. Nowadays it's characters like Guts from Berserk I find appealing.

I always loved Ryoko (and Ryo-Ohki of course) Little Washu, Hige, and Vegeta!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!” HST

My favourite character so far is Sebastian from Black Butler. I really love Lan Zhan from Mo Dao Zu Shi too. Sure, I love the popular characters like those from Naruto, Bleach, Berserk & so on but Seb and Lan Zhan are just too perfect.

Not sure I can choose one, there is an endless list of noteable characters in my opinion.
People who read are hiders. They hide who they are. People who hide don't always like who they are.

My favourite character would have been pain (Nagato) but he didn't get enough screen time. So my best character is Sasuke, one of the few characters with suave in character

My favourite anime character is Light Yagami from Death Note. His intelligence, he single handedly defeated the world police, he was standing alone against L and despite all odds emerged as a hero. Although, he tried to eradicate evil power by declaring himself a god.

Sailor Moon anime was one of the best animes out there. Usagi Tsukino's commitment to her friends and saving the world was inspiring.

Lelouch vi Britannia from Code Geass. Best anti-hero in my opinion - he understands what he is doing is wrong and accepts his punishment (Avoiding spoilers). At the end of the day, he is a complex villain with a simple motive. His character development is also amazing to see. Gotta love C.C. (Code Geass) as well, you really admire everything she has gone through and yet doesn't hate anyone but rather understands thats just how things are.

Right now though, enormous love for Osamu Dazai (Bungou Stray Dogs) - who doesn't love an amazing genius with suicidal tendencies.

Itachi Uchiha for sure. I think it is the most misunderstood character in the anime world.
