What is the best adaptation of a book you have seen? It can be a movie, tv series or a play?

I think the Harry Potter series was fantastic as far as movies go and stayed true to the books.

The best adaptation I have ever seen though would have to be the BBC mini-series of Pride and Prejudice. It remained true to the book and was fantastically done, and the cast was perfect. It was also long enough to cover everything in the book without leaving anything out due to time constraints.
