Movies everyone hates that you love

This could either be a movie that critics really didn't like and/or one that audiences didn't enjoy.

The Witch 2015- I heard a lot of people saying it was boring and slow but I loved every minute of it.
Jawbreaker1999- Critics really didn't like this one but I absolutely loved it. At least for the first half of the movie.

I also loved The Witch! I watched it for Halloween and loved that it wasn't stereotypically scary; no cheap jumpscares or gore. It's more like a psychological horror and I adored that.
For the same reason, I liked The Boy when I saw it in theaters. Yes, there were some parts I laughed at with my friends but I thought the twist at the end was priceless.

My thoughts on The Witch (VVitch?) are a bit mixed. I think using the old-timey language dragged it down because it was hard to understand what exactly were they saying. However, the ending was brilliant in my opinion.

As to the topic, The Day After Tomorrow is one example. If you ignore the bad science I think it's actually a pretty good disaster movie. Why Pandorum got such a low critic score I'll never understand. The Grudge is one of my favorite horror movies. Watchmen is also one that I liked, but I have no familiarity with the original source material, so take it for what it's worth.

I loved the ridiculous 6, but I don't think it got very good ratings on Rotten Tomatoes. I thought it was hilarious!

I enjoyed Tomb Raider 2017 but my siblings hated it because they tend to compare it with the Angelina Jolie's version.

A lot of critics pummeled BvS and most of the recent DC films but I personally love them.

Battleship. Everyone took it too seriously, but I loved how cheesy it was.

I love pretty much every Hallmark movie out there, but if I tell anyone, I get teased about it since they're so cheesy.

Vice Versa. Everyone liked the last film about the Avengers, but I didn't. Friends hated me one week.

From Hell 2001 they think I would get psycho if I kept watching it but they don't understand that I just love seeing Johnny Depp in every pace.

Not sure why -- but there are so many people that don't like the movie Chicken Run. The clay animation amazes me and the story was perfect in my opinion.

Also, I know why people don't like "Master of Disguise." :lol2: :lol2:
But I laugh at it like a four year old and love the scene where he's the guy from Jaws.

And Nacho Libre -- I am the only one in my family with a handful of friends that like it. It's like Napoleon Dynamite but with Jack Black in Mexico. *snicker*

I actually really liked Day After Tomorrow too! 2012 on the other hand was a disaster and not just a movie about one.
