Movies everyone hates that you love
The Witch 2015- I heard a lot of people saying it was boring and slow but I loved every minute of it.
Jawbreaker1999- Critics really didn't like this one but I absolutely loved it. At least for the first half of the movie.

For the same reason, I liked The Boy when I saw it in theaters. Yes, there were some parts I laughed at with my friends but I thought the twist at the end was priceless.

As to the topic, The Day After Tomorrow is one example. If you ignore the bad science I think it's actually a pretty good disaster movie. Why Pandorum got such a low critic score I'll never understand. The Grudge is one of my favorite horror movies. Watchmen is also one that I liked, but I have no familiarity with the original source material, so take it for what it's worth.

LOL! Yes! I love "How To Fall In Love" the best!

Also, I know why people don't like "Master of Disguise."
But I laugh at it like a four year old and love the scene where he's the guy from Jaws.
And Nacho Libre -- I am the only one in my family with a handful of friends that like it. It's like Napoleon Dynamite but with Jack Black in Mexico. *snicker*

I actually really liked Day After Tomorrow too! 2012 on the other hand was a disaster and not just a movie about one.
