The last movie I saw in the theater was If Beale Street Could Talk and while it was good, I think it would have been better as a short Netflix series. The last movie I saw on TV was Beautiful Boy, and while most characters went likeable, the plot was pretty good.

:tiphat: top of the day to everyone and a happy new year

Let's see.

The last movie I have seen is Unbroken which to me is a five star movie -

The actors portrayed the struggle and the pain of the story in such a way that made me feel the horror of the true story, it swept me along with each moment and it is truly a great movie.

Unbroken not only showed the terrible struggle of an American hero and his fellows but of the other sides struggles as well and the horror everyone felt.

Definitely a must watch!

Hello! The last movie that I have seen was "The Million Pound Note" starring Gregory Peck. (1954) I believe it can be rated PG. It has one of my absolute favorite actors in addition to it being just a tad bit goofy and over the top and also thought-provoking. But mostly, I love it because of Gregory Peck. =-)

I watched that right after "Roman Holiday" ...also starring Gregory Peck along with Aubrey Hepburn.

I watched Pan's Labyrinth this weekend, it's been on my watchlist and I'm happy I finally managed to get to it. It was a beautiful movie, both in content as well as in visual appeal. I was amazed as to how much meaning and depth of perspective was packed in this work of art. It showcased how fantasy becomes a coping mechanism when faced with emotional trauma and abuse. I would rate this one a 9 out of 10.

I watched "Leave No Trace" and I rated it 4/10. The initial concept of the movie was interesting, but I was bored by the slow pace, lack of action/drama, and the unsatisfying ending.

I saw 'Passengers' at the cinema in 2016 and I really enjoyed it! rating 10/10
it is an American science fiction romance movie and most of it is very futuristic.

i saw the new Transformers Movie ( Bumblebee ) its was not what i expected. It didn't have what the other movies in the series had . The action the tension it was more like a drama movie for the girl that he was with . Maybe because it was int a BAY MOVIE no big booms or action every minute they focused more on the story of the girl and him

"The Upside" in theaters with Kevin Hart.
A powerful, yet humorous approach to caregiving and seeing the person beyond their life limiting condition.
10/10, a must see!

I do not go to the movies. I order over demand, the last one I watched . as wish upon a star. It is an old 80's movie, that watched as a kid. I thought my girls would like to watch it.

I went to see The Kid Who Would Be King. As a modern retelling of a King "Alexander" story, it was refreshing, but definitely a kid's movie. Overall, I'd give it a 4/5.
