I prefer watching foreign movies compared to local ones. There are better selection of genres, better acting and overall production by the foreign movies. The movie industry in Malaysia is slowly picking up and the last local movie I watched was in 2018 named 'Dukun'. The movie is based on a true crime involving a witch doctor/shaman who murdered a politician in Malaysia, back in 1993. This is a creepy, horror-filled murder. Google up the film and 'Mona Fandey' name. Shudder...

I love watching Japanese Anime. Usually movies rather than series. I love the serenity of Studio Ghibli films and how they make things funny yet emotional at the same time.

To be really honest, I find it tedious to watch the productions of my own country. Foreign films continue to have an impact, and that's what I end up supporting. No disrespect intended, however despite the fact that I know my nation better, I still choose to watch shows from other countries because that is what I am accustomed to.

I enjoy both my country and foreign films. I would definitely see a foreign film with English subtitles, regardless of the language.

I'm Zimbabwean, and sadly my country does not have a strong cinema presence. I love watching foreign TV though: particularly Bollywood and Nollywood movies, and Taiwanese dramas.

I prefer watching foreign movies. It broadens my perception of how other countries are. Of course not everything shown on TV is true, but there has to be an element of truth in it.

This is a sweet question. I love foreign movies because I feel it helps me travel the world even without leaving my house. I cannot be a local man and die a local man lol

Foreign movies definitely. I'm from Greece and most of the movies/ TV series here are boring and unoriginal.

Action movies, horror or thrillers fro foreign countries lift the adrenaline, however in my country very few soaps but the phillipines ones are great.
