Map of Bones by James Rollins was picked up last year to be adapted for the big screen by the writer of Black Panther. So far, his website and IMDb haven't mentioned anything more. I really hope it comes out well so they can make the rest of the series too. Are you looking forward to this too or expecting it to fall flat compared to the book?
