Shows how real characters are dimensional and not just one sided. How we all have some good and bad in us. How we can be someones hero and another person's villain. How things are almost never black or white but a series of greys.

Lord of the Rings: Return of the King
I think it's one of the best quotes in literature too, but the delivery it just too awesome in the movie.
